Equalizer on Techno preset.

Razer Surround Best Settings

Turn on Sound normalization to 25% if you struggle to hear certain things.

Turn on voice clarity and change presence level to 100%.

If you like bass, turn it on at 100% but if you play games where directional sound quality is critical then leave it at 50%.

Turn Mic sensitivity to 100% as well as turn the volume to 50% (Its a very loud mic) and turn active noise cancellation on and ambient noise reduction to 100%.

With these setting, all friends have been saying i have superior mic quality and as for sound, it forces the voice just above other audio in equalized and unpeaked video situations. Iv also been able to hear more sounds than other people seem to be able to in FPS games and instantly tell the direction.

Razer Kraken Tournament Edition EQ Settings

I would recomming going to Synapse, disable ALL enhancements except for Bass Boost if you like it, and use these EQ settings:

5, -1, -7, 0, -1, 1, 6, 4

Should be the best settings to get the KRaken 7.1 V2 as close as possible to a flat-frequency response when listening to a brown/red noise audio file.

First, make sure that the audio quality for the headset and microphone channels are as high as possible since Windows likes setting them to crappy bitrates by default, to do this, right click on the sound icon in the lower right corner in the Windows Taskbar and go to “Sounds.”

From there, go to Playback and right click the headset’s channel, for example. Now access its proprieties > Advanced and select the highest sample rate available (should be something like 48000Hz, 2 channels).

Now do the same for in Recording, the microphone channel.

Also, in Synapse, disable ALL enhancements except for Bass Boost if you like it, and use these EQ settings:

5, -1, -7, 0, -1, 1, 6, 4

Should be the best settings to get the KRaken 7.1 V2 as close as possible to a flat-frequency response when listening to a brown/red noise audio file.

What is volume normalization razer?

Razer surround sound also includes a volume normalizer which will ensure that all of your games and videos are playing at the same volume. This is a great feature for when you’re watching videos and playing games with different sound levels.

What is Sound Normalization razer?

Razer surround sound is a virtual speaker software that simulates 7.1 surround sound using your two front speakers or stereo headset. It was developed by Razer who are known for their gaming accessories. It is compatible with Windows 7, 8 and Vista, both 32-bit and 64-bit.

Razer headset equalizer

There are a few different ways that you can set up your Razer surround sound. The first is the equalizer which will allow you to adjust how loud or quiet certain frequencies are. The second is the modes which will allow you to turn on headphone surround, virtual cinema and a few others. The third is standard which will provide all sound without any enhancements. The fourth is positional audio, this setting will determine how clear the sounds are that you hear.

The first step for setting up your Razer surround sound software should be to set it up with your specific headset. If you do not own a Razer headset then there are some speakers that come with the software that can be used as well.

Once you have your headset plugged in and Razer surround sound open, go to the settings tab on the top right-hand side of the window. Here you will find a few different options for setting up your sound.

After that is the mode selection, this will allow you to choose between headphones, virtual cinema and others. The next section is for advanced settings which will give you more control over the sound that you are hearing. Finally, the last option is the language selection.

Once you have all of these settings adjusted to your liking, click on the save button in the bottom right-hand corner and your settings will be saved. If you ever need to change them back, simply click on the restore default button and they will be reset.

Once you have done this, go all the way down to Advanced mode and make sure that this is turned on. Now below the three different options, you should see a check box next to Microphone EQ. This will have a note next to it that says, “This setting is only available when Advanced mode is turned on.”

If you want to adjust the equalizer for the microphone, you can do so by clicking on the microphone tab. Here you will see a few different sliders that will allow you to adjust the different frequencies that the microphone is picking up.
